Alex Horwitz, M.S. IMC

Professor Horwitz is Strategic Director of Communications for Freddie Mac in McLean, Virginia. Horwitz previously spent eight years at Cox Communications in Arizona and Northern Virginia, where he most recently served as Director of Public and Government Affairs in Northern Virginia.  In his current role, he supports employee communications to the company’s nearly 5,000 employees nationwide.

Professor Horwitz has 16 years of public relations and communications experience, mostly in the telecommunications industry. His expertise is mainly in media relations, employee communications and social media.

Professor Horwitz has both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.
