IMC Students Who Plan to Attend Graduation
West Virginia University no longer holds a centralized convocation ceremony. All students are strongly encouraged to attend the graduation ceremony of their individual college.
All IMC graduates are invited and encouraged to attend the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism's graduation. Student who submit their graduation applications on time will receive an invitation directly from the School of Journalism to attend the school's graduation ceremony.
SAVE THE DATE: The School of Journalism's December 2009 Graduation Ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 13. The event will be held at WVU’s Mountainlair Ballrooms and will begin at 9:30 a.m. Students planning to participate should arrive by 8:30. A map of WVU’s Downtown Campus is provided.
IMC student diplomas will not be distributed during the graduation ceremony since courses will not have ended at that time. Diplomas will be mailed after all final grades are confirmed and submitted to the University (ten days after the term ends).
